Yeshivas Toras Moshe in Far Rockaway, under the guidance of its Rosh Hayeshiva, Rav Aharon Stien shlit"a, has recently purchased “A Yeshiva Students Guide to Topics in Living Environment” for their 9th grade. This work produced by Limudai Chol Publications under the guidance of Hagaon Rav Chaim Yisroel Belsky zatza”l attempts to address the problematic topics covered in Living Environment by presenting these topics in a brief and contextualized manner. Rabbi Belsky zatza”l felt that despite the problematic nature of these materials, they may be taught and studied in a certain modified fashion. These pamphlets offer just that, allowing our students to study the problematic topics in a kosher way. May others be zoche to follow in this practice as well.
